Macon State College Tornado Damage Repair & Clean Up
The Storm struck on Mothers Day and PCG was on site Monday to assist the Owner with an initial assessment of damage. PCG swung into action on Wednesday working under a Task Order agreement already in place with the State Board of Regents. PCG acted as an extension of David Simms' staff for the next 8 months performing such varies tasks as debris removal, landscaping and irrigation repair, building reconstruction, and CCTV analysis and repair. As the work was completed PCG assisted with compiling the insurance claim and resolution. Once the work load of MSC returned to "Near Normal", PCG handed back to Mr. Simms' staff the outstanding items in an efficient and orderly manner.
PCG arranged for MSC administration and staff to attend Chuck Leavell's Christmas concert held at the Cox Capitol Theatre where the College unveiled the reconstruction plan and announced their fundraising drive under the watchful eye of Chuck Leavell, former Forester of the Year in Georgia.
